This study goals to establish the primary traits that typify a complicated efficiency measurement and administration system in SMEs, in accordance with the literature devoted to efficiency measurement and HRM. Design/methodology/approach Through a multiple-case study methodology, the research deeply investigates 4 European SMEs.
